Launch Summer Program at MIT
July 2013 – Present, Boston, MA
Launch is a 4-week summer program designed to help high school students start companies. We will admit 30-40 rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors to our program in the summer of 2013. The program will be taught by professors from prestigious institutions like MIT and Harvard Business School, consultants from top tier consulting firms, and successful entrepreneurs. The summer will conclude with students pitching their business plans to investors, with real money at stake.

Boston Young Entrepreneurs was launched in conjunction with Boston Mayor Menino’s initiative to boost the city’s under-34 population called OneInThree. Launched by Sonicbids’ founder Panos Panay and OneInThree Director Isabelle Hardy BYE created a forum for Boston’s young entrepreneurial community to meet and exchange experiences as well as share knowledge and support. The program helped launch many successful local startups including Wine Riot, Boston Bike Tours and Audyssey Guides.
